We Sharpen Knives Australia Wide

Blade and Stone offers a postal knife sharpening service for Australian addresses only. Please note swords and daggers will not be sharpened by mail order from any other state other than NSW. State laws vary, i.e. swords are now a prohibited weapon in the state of Victoria for example. Sorry guys we don’t make the rules around here. Transporting knives and blades can be dangerous, so it is imperative that all sharp and pointed edges are wrapped properly to avoid potential injury and damage to the blade.

PACKAGE, SECURE AND LABEL

Firstly wrap each blade's edge in old newspaper or rag/tea towels (we will send them back to you!) and then cover tightly with tape. Chefs can send their whole kitchen knife rolls to us if they wish and everything will be returned accordingly. Make sure all blade ware is secure and in a thick box with more padding such as crumpled newspaper to stop the blades from bouncing around in transit. Just be aware of the obvious and postage will be no problem at all.

REGISTERED POST AND TRACKING

When you send your knives or blades to us please send via registered post so you can track the items, alternately use your preferred courier. It’s then best to email us here at Blade and Stone to let us know that we are expecting your knives and blades. Send us the tracking number also, so we can keep an eye on your gear too. Include your name, email address, phone number and return address. When we receive your knives and blades we will then call you and quote you over the phone for all the sharpening and or repairs that are needed. A simple over the phone credit or debit card transaction will finish the transaction including postage and then we will have your knives and blades sharp packed and ready to go back home to you as soon as we can.
